Hi there! I’m a high school senior interested in a career in the medical field. I started a club at my school called BayMD, where we aim to teach essential life-saving skills to Bay students in order to bring critical skill sets to the greater community. Our goal is to educate students in preparation for every day, life-threatening situations that one might find themselves in day-to-day, ranging from CPR to Epi-Pen administration, the Heimlich, wound care, and more!
I grew up with two doctors for parents, so naturally, instead of playing dress-up, my sister and I frequently played doctor, complete with all of our parents medical tools and a fully equipped exam room. This truly sparked my interest in medicine, coupled with taking several Honors science classes that really dove into each topic.
